🛒 Ordering Questions
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our menu, select your favorite dishes, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You can order via our website or mobile app. Enter your delivery address, choose your payment method, and confirm your order!
Is there a minimum order amount?
Yes, the minimum order varies by restaurant/chef and your location, typically ranging from $15-$25. The minimum is displayed before you place your order.
Can I schedule an order for later?
Absolutely! You can schedule orders up to 7 days in advance. Just select “Schedule for later” at checkout and choose your preferred date and time.
Can I modify my order after placing it?
You can modify your order within 5 minutes of placing it via the app or by contacting support immediately. After preparation begins, modifications may not be possible.
Do you offer group/catering orders?
Yes! We offer catering for events, parties, and corporate gatherings. Contact us at catering@afribizeats.com or call 1-800-AFRIBIZ at least 48 hours in advance.
Are dietary preferences and allergen info available?
Yes! Menu items include tags for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary preferences. Always check the description and contact the chef/restaurant for specific allergen questions.
🚗 Delivery Questions
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times typically range from 30-60 minutes depending on preparation time, distance, and traffic. You’ll see an estimated delivery time before placing your order, and you can track your order in real-time via the app.
What are your delivery hours?
Delivery hours vary by vendor but generally:
Lunch: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Dinner: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Some vendors offer weekend brunch and late-night delivery. Check individual vendor hours in the app.
How much is the delivery fee?
Delivery fees range from $2.99-$7.99 depending on distance, time of day, and demand. The exact fee is shown before checkout. Free delivery is available on orders over $40 (select locations).
Can I track my order?
Yes! Track your order in real-time through the AfriBiz Eats app or website. You’ll see when your food is being prepared, picked up, and on its way to you with live GPS tracking.
What if my order is late or incorrect?
Contact us immediately via the app’s help center or call 1-800-AFRIBIZ. We’ll work with the vendor and driver to resolve the issue. If your order arrives significantly late or incorrect, we offer refunds or credits.
Do you offer contactless delivery?
Yes! Choose “Leave at door” at checkout, and your driver will place your order at your doorstep, knock or ring the bell, and step back. You’ll receive a notification with a photo of the drop-off.
💳 Payment & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Cash payment is available for select orders (check at checkout).
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees! Your total includes:
• Food cost
• Delivery fee
• Service fee (typically 10-15%)
• Taxes
• Optional tip
All fees are clearly shown before you confirm your order.
How does tipping work?
Tips are 100% optional but greatly appreciated by our drivers. You can tip during checkout or after delivery. The suggested tip is 15-20%, but you can customize any amount. Drivers keep 100% of tips.
Do you offer promo codes or discounts?
Yes! We regularly offer promo codes for new customers, seasonal deals, and special promotions. Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media for exclusive discount codes.
What’s your refund policy?
If you’re not satisfied with your order, contact us within 24 hours. We review each case individually and offer refunds, credits, or redelivery for legitimate issues (wrong order, quality problems, significant delays).

How do I become a vendor/chef partner?
Apply through our Vendor Signup or Home Chef Signup pages. After approval (24-48 hours), you’ll complete onboarding, set up your menu, and start accepting orders!
What’s the commission rate?
Commission rates typically range from 15-25% depending on services used (marketing, delivery, etc.). We discuss pricing transparently during onboarding. No hidden fees!
How do payouts work?
Weekly direct deposits every Friday for the previous week’s orders. You can track earnings in real-time through your vendor dashboard.
Can I update my menu and prices?
Absolutely! You have full control to update your menu, pricing, photos, descriptions, and availability anytime through your vendor dashboard.
🚘 For Delivery Partners
How do I sign up to deliver?
Apply at our Delivery Partner page. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, insurance, vehicle registration, and pass a background check. Approval typically takes 24-48 hours.
How much can I earn?
Drivers typically earn $18-$25/hour including base pay, tips, and bonuses. Earnings vary by location, time of day, and demand. Peak hours (lunch & dinner) offer higher pay.
When do I get paid?
Weekly direct deposits every Friday. You can also use instant cash-out (small fee applies) to access your earnings anytime after completing a delivery.
Can I choose my own hours?
Yes! You’re an independent contractor with complete flexibility. Log in and out whenever you want. No scheduled shifts or minimum hour requirements.
👤 Account & Technical
Do I need an account to order?
Yes. Creating an account is free and takes less than 2 minutes. An account lets you save addresses, payment methods, track orders, and access exclusive deals.
How do I reset my password?
Click “Forgot Password” on the login page, enter your email, and you’ll receive a password reset link. If you don’t receive it within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely! We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and comply with PCI-DSS standards. We never store your full credit card number on our servers. All payments are processed through secure third-party processors.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes! Download the AfriBiz Eats app on iOS (App Store) or Android (Google Play). The app offers faster ordering, push notifications, exclusive app-only deals, and easier order tracking.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account Settings > Privacy > Delete Account, or contact support at support@afribizeats.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
